Title: Chang Jiang parts for our r65?
Post by: juliansr on December 29, 2012, 12:00:03 PM
Chang Jiang 750 :o
I suppose the URAL parts bin might have a few things we like too

not for us, but nice to see how little changes visually.

I would stay quite far away from these parts !!!!!!!

First off, the first part would appear to be a diode board design, not a voltage regulator .

Yeah, buyer beware.

The Chiang is based on a copy of a copy of the '38 BMW R71.

I doubt electronics will be 100% compatible without some careful study

But there are some nice other items, headlight bezels, mirrors, petcock, spoke wheels and a few other bits would work in a pinch.

I especially like the headlight, horn and springer seat for a classic looking cafe racer.
