Sorry, I did I search , but did not find anything, this subject may have been researched to death, But.......... Whats the consenses on the air pulse system. Get rid of it, and plug the holes ? Leave it be ?

BB, there are several threads out there on this subject, but I found this one quickly as I've gotta run for work.
General consensus seems to be to toss it.

I was lucky in that the Fresh Air system on my LS was in good order. Ive had the hoses off at the head and found the previous owner plugged them up using wood screws, not a recommended method. I removed the whole system, checked it for operation and reinstalled it. I have not noticed any difference in running and don't have any popping as is often a complaint blamed in the Air injection. All this passive system really does is introduce air into the exhaust on it's way out of the head to facilitate a sort of after burn of the combustion by products. Of course less bits is less that can go wrong so if you do decide to remove it follow the procedure previously shown and replace 1 light bulb in your house with one of the energy saving type to make up for your carbon sin.

I personally ditched it on all of our bikes, if for no other reason than it just looks cleaner without it. I have heard some theories that the AIR system it isn't really kind to your exhaust valves. Don't know if that's true or not but it gave me the excuse to "whack" it.

Get rid of it. It makes a popping sound which is annoying. Bike seems to tune better without.
My .02
Two threaded plugs, two crush washers, and two rubber timing inspection plugs (to fill the airbox holes) and you are done. Somebody somewhere has the part numbers that you need. (Snowbum?)
