Title: 1983 R65 VIN Plate

Would someone (ideally with an R65 of similar vintage) have a moment to measure the VIN plate, "up front/up high" and post the exact measurements-- including  screw holes, if any?  It's time for me to get a "real" plate for Schottzie,to replace the yellow sticky on the down tube...
(No legal counsel needed-- just dimensions!)   :)  THANKS.

I'm not sure what you're asking about.  The VIN was on a stupid sticker on the lower right side frame rail.  Mine is pretty much illegible, which is why I called them stupid.

Ditto what Ed said - the VIN 'plate' is a thin foil sticker on the lower right frame rail placed exactly where it could be most easily damaged.   DO you want a picture of that?
