Hello everyone. I a fit of frustration I pulled all the wires out of the diode board without marking them. I am a jack ass I know can someone guide me on what wire goes were?
thanks

Hey there, Jack.
I can tell you that it makes absolutely no difference the order of connecting the heavy wires to the bottom-right side male terminals (when facing the installed diode board).
I would encourage you and all others to utilize a digital camera to photograph whatever component you're about to remove. At least make some paper notes or use a Sharpie and some tape to mark what goes where.
Failing that, you can always reference the wiring diagram in your shop manual. It provides wire size and color plus where those boogers come from.

This might help!!

You might see better on this diagram which indicates the wire colours clearly. rt = red sw = black bl = blue.
As Monte said the 3 heavy wires from the stator can go in any order. That's because it's a 3 phase alternator and the diode board doesn't care about the phase order. You can see that from the way the diodes rectified outputs are connected together.
If you ever disconnect a 3 phase motor the phase order does matter as it changes the direction of the rotating magnet field and therefore the motors direction of rotation. (http://)
