Title: Fork mounted turn signals
Post by: awaffa2003 on June 21, 2007, 10:16:07 AM
I used to have a luftmeister fairing on my 81 R65 and apparently the PO hacked off the turn signals. now that i took off the fairing and then realized that the turn signal housing itself was cut about 1/8 inch, i'm thinking bout just getting some after market fork mounted signals instead of welding those bars back on and fixing the plastic housing. has anybody done this before, what was used etc. all the ones that i see online are all chromed  >:( or just really ugly although i could put some crotch rocket looking ones on there but the whole uniformity thing......

/6 front turn signals will clamp right on to your R65 forks. I have them on my bike so I can use an S fairing from time to time.

"...the ones you need when some peckerwood has sawed off the original ones to put a Luft geezer fairing on."

Cuts right to the chase doesn't it? Sounds like just what you need.
