Well, layed the bike down the other day. Idiot woman in front of me on a hill just let off her clutch and started rolling backwards. I leaned on the horn and dropped the bike when I stepped off the pavement. Inbred fool just drove off.
I've got to check my brake rotor (something is sticking). Also (and here is my question!), I can't start the bike by pulling in the clutch. Only if the bike is in neutral.
Any ideas n why this is happening?

Check the interlock switch and wiring in the clutch lever area .

That's why I try to pull off to the side - in case they accidentally put it in reverse - or roll back like happened to you.
I'm guessing she didn't contact the bike? Minor damage? Scrapes on the valve cover?
My guess is the interlock switch at the clutch lever as well. Maybe the wire got yanked in the tumble?

The wiring for the switch goes about 18-24 inches, hides under the fuel tank , a two wire connector connects it to the bikes wire harness, may have just been pulled apart there .

Thanks guys. I'll check that.
No real scratches that weren't there before... ;)
