Post by: Air4Life on August 07, 2011, 01:36:12 PM
Where would the center of mass lie on a riderless r65?

I would say right around where the center stand is, if the center stand isn't too worn, the bike feels pretty much 'weightless' when it's on it .

I would estimate that it is just slightly higher, just about at the crankshaft, and probably  near the clutch assembly as far as fore-aft positioning goes.

thanks Bob Roller and Nhmaf:  When I formulated the question I should have added the fore/aft detail.

I'm interested in knowing so that I can mount the wheel chock in the enclosed trailer properly.  I want to ensure within reason that I have the suggested 60/40 % ratio over its axle.
