Title: Any Chrome frontfenders compatible with 1984 R65?

Hi folks,
Just wondering if any there are any chrome fenders (front) that will fit a 1984 R65. Maybe from other BMW models? Would prefer chrome in any shape to the blue. Gettin it together....

Afraid you're on your own on this one. BMW didn't make any chrome or metal fenders since 1970, and you wouldn't want those earlier ones! I saw an R65 made into a scrambler with a metal front fender and it looked great! It looked like the stock fender brace was used and the fender fit over the top of it somehow.

The other solution is to use a San Jose fork brace and mount a fender to it. Whatever you do, I'd like to see it!

Hi Craig, I have ordered from all three of these vendors from the UK and Germany and have had really good experience with them. They all have alloy or Stainless Steel front fenders for BMW. There are numerous other sites listed on Google for "Cafe Racer". The three I have used are Flatracer.com, BMWBayer.com, and Motobins.com. Good Luck. D2
