I have got a clubman handlebar for my R65. I will remove original speedometer and tachometer and buy an Acewell or Vapor. I think it looks like a mess with the clubman bar and the original brake-lines and splitter behind the headlight. I would like to get rid of the splitter and use a 2-line set up from the brake master cylinder.
Have anybody done this before? What stainless brake-lines to buy?

I have never seen an MC with dual outputs as opposed to a line splitter for the brake lines. Can you get longer lines and hide the brale lines more along the handlebar and forks perhaps?

If you had two lines that were meant for a single disc front brake that had 'banjo' fittings on one end , you would then need a long hollow bolt to accommodate the two lines at the master cylinder .
I'm not so sure this would look any better than the OEM setup .

I saw a R80 1988 with dual lines and a long hollow bolt in another forum. On my R65 the upper brake line is positioned where my new speedo will be and the splitter and small brake pipe use a lot of space. Do you know if the different R45-R100 has identical threads on the master cylinder and caliper? I have ATE calipers, will that be a problem? In one catalog I found the treads marked with M10*1,0 (Brembo). I guess I have to keep looking for a solution.

I think the fitting thread size is the same if the diameter of the brake lines is the same... Brembo vs. ATE would not matter as the fittings are a standard.
