I just recieved my new coil wires & caps - will replace coils, wires & all at one time. I was wondering about the end pieces they supplied - looks like they just crimp on..should I try to solder them instead?
thanks, Bill

Can you de-solder the OEM wire terminals- those that fit into the coil terminals- and reuse them? They are the best option and superior to the crimped-on variety. I did this on both my R65s after advice from others on this forum. Glad I did.
If you are fitting NGK plug caps, they have a pointy threaded screw that the wire secures to. Be sure to guide the wire's core onto the threaded portion. I used a scratch awl to slightly open the conductor and insure good contact.

Thanks Monte, i'll give that a try. Caps were already attached so I don't have to worry about that part.
