Title: Clutch Switch
Post by: Dave 2 on October 23, 2011, 01:49:27 PM
I'm trying to remove the clutch Switch plug at the handle bar. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to get it out? I can't get it to budge and I don't want to break it. thanks, Dave

Just took a quick look at one of the bikes, without taking things apart .

I think you need to remove the lock nut on the clutch adjuster bolt to get the switch out .

The entire adjuster bolt nut may have to come out or loose.

Been a while since I've had one out .

Isn't there a small inset phillips head screw that secures the switch to the perch?  Testing my memory again.

Bob, What I found was that there is a small phillips head screw right next to the handle bar. This screw holds the switch in place. I had to really look to find it. Removing the lever didn't release it but got me to look hard.  Thanks, Dave
