does anyone know if the silencers from 84 r65ls are the same as 86 r65 mono cheers chris

Chris - they're totally different.

One thing I wonder is if the monoshock exhaust system is 38mm, or 36 like the twin shock models.

At least on the 1000cc models the header pipes went into a "collector" then the mufflers attached to the rear f the "collector" and were a larger diameter than the headers.  I have a complete spare set up in the attic somewhere...

i already have the h section fitted just not sure if the silencers are the same reason i ask is the end of my silencers that fit to the h section have rusted and now will not seal properly.
