Russell seats are the best...
Having said that, The seat on my R65 is about the most comfortable stock bmw seat I have ever owned..

I have a Bill Mayer seat on my /6.

http://billmayersaddles.com/BMS/Home.html

I sent him my old one with a picture of how I sit and my weight plus about $500.

He sent back a leather covered masterpiece that allows me to run 800 - 900 miles per day with no issues in my lower back or sore butt, dy after day.

I thought about doing the same thing with the LS but I don't go on trips with it so I just recovered it.

His brother, Rick, makes similar saddles but with a lot of floofy stitching and such.  The more stitches you have in the saddle, the more opportunity for moisture to penetrate and soak the foam.

I've had a Corbin, And a Rocky Mayer..The Russell beats tham both hands down...

Just spend the money and be done with it.. I can't tell you how many have worked their way thru all the other brands to finally wind up with the Russell...
