Title: Reducing handlebar vibration
Post by: balibeemer on October 11, 2010, 09:31:37 PM
I had 2 16 mm Diameter x 130 mm length made up, took off the grips, smeared the rods with silicone and slid them into the bars. Replaced the grips and bingo! the vibes have definitely reduced.

I filled mine with a grey sillicone sealer and it also worked.

Actually they are Javanese. One funny incident, I turned up at the machine shop to get the lower section of the float bowl of a Blitz carb copied ( for a BMW R25/3) The bit was fairly complex, it was 3.00 pm and when I asked the macinist if he could do it, the reply was

"yes, but not today"
