Pricey, but could be worth it the next time a seal spoils your day while you're on the road.. I think that if I were replacing a clutch disk today, or planning an expedition/adventure type ride, I'd put one of these in:

Why didn't we have these 25+ years ago.. :-/

Looks like all but one of the clutch products at Eurotech in Chico all say "Not r65" Too bad... I'm in need of a new clutch and it might be nice to upgrade a bit now...

I'd give them a call - somewhere I did have a link to a site that said they had these oil resistant parts for R45/65, but I cannot find it now. I'm fairly certain that the 1981 and later bikes all used the same clutch parts regardless of R65, R80, R100..

I think that is true for ANY year R65. Same clutch parts, same transmissions.

From the Siebenrock website - they have (2) clutch disk parts, one for the pre 1981 bikes, and one for the 1981 and later bikes - no difference in model displacement.
/5 /6 /7 bikes and others up to 1980 model year
