Sounds like a good time to replace the old fuse box with new 4 fuse blade type box, existing circuits will just plug straight in via spade connectors.
Then run new power wires straight from the battery to the new fuses for any accessories you want to run.
The new box cable tied to the relay mounting plate just near the old fuse box location and has a clear water resistant cover.

Below is a link to the product I used.

It's an 8 amp fuse .

I agree, it would be a good time to consider upgrading the fuse box to a more readily available fuse type .

There's a cheap n' easy blade-fuse upgrade for the R65 posted in our R65 Wiki. Get what you need at NAPA. Both my R65s have dumped the Euro-style ceramic corrosion farms.

1/4-inch i.d. if I recall my last purchase.

It can be a pain working the fuel line through the air box case; carb-to-carb, left-to-right. You may want to file the openings a bit larger to ease the pain.
