Title: ignition coils

Hi everybody,today i instaled a new voltage regulator and i found a crack on my coil.I know i have to get one from Motorrad Elektric,but i dont know which one the green or the brown.I have an elektronic ignition,so its have to be the brown but...?How many i nees one or two?

You need one Dyna 'brown'coil, unless the heads have been modified, to dual plugs .

The Dyna from Rick Jones and Motorrad Elektric comes with a nice HD aluminum bracket, hardware and an instruction sheet. Sweet. Call Rick to order. You'll enjoy talking with him plus he can give you the straight dope on the install. I'm not current on the coil location on the '85 but hopefully it's the same as on my '81 and '83.

As long as you're doing ignition work, check condition of the plug leads and sparkle caps. A perfect time to upgrade if you feel industrious.

thank you Monte.The leads and the caps were changed not too while ago by previous owner
