Could any of you guys who has fitted a RS fairing let me have a wiring diagram/instructions for the clock and voltmeter?

There might be a blank plug, since these were factory options.
Possibly this one:

Check the wire colors, and see if they match what is on your instruments.

One of the leads (the red one) to the special equipment connector (the blank one in Rob's posting) is always alive. You can use this for the clock and ground it to the brown lead of the same connector.
The voltmeter can be connected to either the white and yellow lead from the ignition key or the green lead from the same; this is more tricky as you will have to splice the positive lead from the voltmeter on to one of these leads. The voltmeter must be grounded directly to the battery to obtain the best readings.

That looks like the one from the "newer" reprinted Haynes manuals.

It's from Clymer's actually.
So is the attached post '81 in which you will find a dedicated connector for the voltmeter, which of course make it much easier to install the voltmeter.
