Title: Official BMW Motorcycle Parts Site
Post by: Bob_Roller on October 23, 2009, 07:33:59 PM
I picked up some parts for the '84 LS yesterday at the local BMW dealer, Victory BMW, Chandler, Arizona .

I was quite surprised about the way I was treated, while ordering airhead parts, seems like they have caught on, that the old bikes are a source of parts revenue .

I was given a three page tutorial, on accessing the official BMW motorcycle parts site .

https://www.parts.bmwgroup.com/tetis/index.jsp?DOMAIN=Internet&APP=WebETK&ENTRY_ID=WebETK_START

Hopefully the link works .

It doesn't link, it is cut off, with 15 more characters, available, but just shows three periods .

You can access it through :   www.bmwmotorcycles.com

After you get to the home page, click on the header : Gear&WebEPC

Then click on the WebEPC, below the wheel rims .

For user ID, use :  us999999,  for password, use : bmwbike1

The link worked for me!  Interesting site!

Twin-shock owners will need their VIN to find their bike, I think.

The link works for me too once pop ups are allowed.  This is great resource. I like the quality diagrams.

Alright, well it worked for me this morning, must have been 'rush hour' on the information superhighway yesterday evening when I tried .
