New here. recently aquired a 1981 R65. Love the bike. perfect condition.
I need new tires. I am a student and need to get to school and back daily . the tires on the bike are bald for the most part. Im looking at these since am broke. Kenda Motorcycle Tire 120-90-18 K-657R
? Also for front KENDA CHALLENGER K657 100/90-18. Also both these say tubeless? Also looking at shinko because price is so good for 2. I live in AZ where it hardly rains so really only need tires fr dry conditions
Also here is a pic of me and my bike!

Welcome Vic .
Those tires will fit, but the 120 width rear tire, is a bear to get the rear wheel on and off the bike, if you can, get a 4.00 x 18 rear, it goes on without any problems .
With the 'snowflake' wheels, I would recommend installing tubes, no matter what the tire says .
I'm located quite close to you, Warner and Kyrene Roads, in the southwest corner of Tempe, so if you ever need any help with the bike, don't hesitate to contact me .
My bike is the same color as yours, but with the gold pinstripes on the tank .

when you say 4.00 / 18 what are my options?
-
4.00 is the width of the tire in inches, the 120 designation, is a metric measurement for width, the 18, is the diameter of the wheel in inches .
If there is a narrower tire in the model that you're looking at, like a 110x18, it will work better .

Welcome Vic. Listen closely to Uncle Bob, he's a super wrench! FWIW, Motorcycle Superstore.com is having a sale on tires just now. Don't know what you want but they are pretty reasonable. Stay away from the simple 2 ply tires, you'll just end up replacing them that much sooner.
