Cool.  I found the service bulletin that said they no longer needed the circlip in the tranny....

I would think there is something to learn in there for most people. The search function could be better though. It seems to turn up the odd irrelevant  item.

The bulletin titles can be a little misleading. "Oil leak at pushrod boot" turns out to be about clutch adjustment and I learnt I had been doing it wrong by measuring the 201mm to the edge of the operating arm instead of the edge of the barrel nipple. Ok its only about 4mm difference but its nice to get it right.  Sure enough when I put on two pairs of reading glasses at once and peer closely at the tiny diagram in my owners manual the measurement should be to the barrel nipple after all.
