During the recent overhaul of the R65s 32mm Bings, I had only one small frustration related to reassembly. Attempting to push and rotate the jet needle through the tiny needle clip only succeeded in shoving the needle clip up the pipe and out of position. Multiple attempts. Grrr.
Step away from the carb. Do not strike it with the Fugowie war club.
A 3/8" deep hole drilled in the end of a six-inch length of 3/8" dowel held the clip in position deep in the slide body. The drilled hole provides clearance for the jet needle... and we're in.
I didn't try pressing the clip and needle down from the top as I didn't trust the clip to stay in its correct notched position.
