Received my new Actron DVOM #CP7677. A replacement for my vintage RadioShack cheapy.
What I was missing on the previous meter (besides a larger screen) was a tachometer feature and a dwell measurement. Check my sig line... I have a VW Cabriolet with a couple relays that need duty cycle checks for serious tune up work. It will also check Hall sensors and fuel injector resistance.
The Actron is not a Fluke-quality meter but is does a very good job at a competitive price. Retail is $89.95. I've been scouting the product at Sears listed for $59.99. Checked Amazon.com and bought the meter for only $40.04. No tax and no shipping fee. At my door in three days.
I've been using the unit this weekend and I am quite pleased. If you're interested in a DVOM, this meter is worth considering. IMHO.

It looks quite nice! And all those features!

New tools! I love new tools! The Craftsman meter I have has saved me from unauthorized state execution on a number of occasions and I wouldn't trade for that. But tell me about the timing light in the background. Mine is about 40 years old and I'm suspicious about it's accuracy. Time to replace it.
BTW, I took Justin's advice to heart and bought the Harbor Freight m/c lift a few weeks ago. How did I live without it for so long. I have El Luche Libre mounted on it in the kitchen while the project comes together. (Hey, I'm a single guy so who's going to complain?)

I wish I had a bigger kitchen... :-/

1) It's a Sun timing light. None better but several with the zenon light available at DIYer prices.
2) Don't rub it in. [smiley=evil.gif]
