Title: I am Finished!!!

I just rode my 1980 BMW R65 around the block and it was wonderful! Worked on this bike for 6 months bringing it back to life. Thanks to Barry, Bob Roller Georgestrait? And all who responded to my many questions.  I rebuilt front brake caliper, new stainless brake lines, rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt forks, new steering head bearing, new wiring harness, ew plugs, wires, electronic ignition, voltage regulator, battery, rebuilt the bings, new tires, new throttle cables, adjusted valves. I still need to put timing light on it but it’s idling at 1000rpm, sounds good at 3-4000rpm. Thanks again

Great to hear!!
But now a reality check, you have a 45 year old vehicle, you will never be done !!
Be thankful that BMW and aftermarket parts companies still support these ' farm implements ' !!😁

Yes had oil leak prior to seal replacement

Glad to hear that "I am finished" means with the project, not with the  bike.
