i ordered a carb rebuild kit for my 1986 r65. no problem rebuilding the thing but i couldnt figure out where the circled o-rings go. i only found three places for o-rings. 1. the idle jet 2. mixture screw 3. main needle jet. where do these two other o-rings go? i looked at the exploded view of the carb and couldnt see a spot. 32mm bing.
i feel silly even asking but... its worrisome when there are parts leftover.

Hiya,
Throttle shaft (I didn't bother as it wasn't leaking) and choke mechanism shaft :-)

i would never have guessed those. but it’s good to know they are there and i have spares!
thanks

Hi !
Doing a full carb review, I think it would be wise to check on the throttle shaft O-rings.
If they are worn, you'll have an air intake which won't help when tuning them...
Be careful with the screws holding the butterfly and use new ones carefully preened upon installation.
Just my 2¢ ...
