 Hi Team,

Just wanted to say hi to all members, I am a proud new owner of an '85 R65 black, with panniers, can't wait to get out and about on it!

Don't know if there are any R65 owners near me, is there a Queensland register of owners?

Welcome to the "Asylum!"  I think you'll find that there is a large contingent of folks from the "Land Down Under" so I wouldn't be surprised if you find some neighbors here.

Brian Foster of Beerwah is the keeper of an R65 and a self made R65GS.

I am not sure if he is here, but you can find him in the R65 group on Facebook.
