Title: 1984 BMW R65LS - $2,500
Post by: wilcom on February 04, 2024, 06:52:57 PM
Nice rider quality 1984 R65LS, $2500
After being for sale for multiple months in multiple publications I have had no lookers and one message. I decided to keep the sumbitch.
Tires only have about 700 miles, braided stainless brake lines, rear drive has been upgraded to a 32:10 for better cruising. The Speedometer has been changed to a 120 mph unit, it came with an 85MPH speedometer.
Bike has approx 60Kmiles on it(new speedo shows something less.)
Starts, runs and stops as it should. The tags and registration are good thru 2024. clean Calif, title in my name Does need steering head bearings. and the front tabs on the LS fairing are broken as almost all are.

Price is firm,.............................. JUST PRETEND I WAS ASKING 3500 FOR IT AND I TOOK LESS.

Bob,
I couldn't sell it, so I am making something rideable for me. At 80, I no longer enjoy "wind in my face." I'm adding a larger fairing, warmer in the winter and less wind fatigue.
