On my way home from work yesterday when I noticed the speedometer needle was gone .
After a closer look, the needle broke off about a fingers width from the pivot point .
WTF !!!!

Well, you now have an excuse for speeding .... because you didn't know what speed you were doing.

The speedo in my '57 Chevy had a broken needle so I made a "new" one with a round toothpick, sanded flat on one side, gluing it to the stub, and finally painting it. That was over 20 years ago and it's still hanging in there!

Some places have clock kits and parts. we have used these to replace needles on old power meters by gluing them in place.
