I just picked up a 1980 R65 however the previous owner peeled off the emissions sticker as they started to 'cafe' the bike and tore much of the bike apart. I'm going to bring it back to life however I'm worried I might have issues without that sticker. My initial search hasn't yielded anything. Meyer, and Max don't have them.
Had anybody every replaced one before?

There are folks advertising in forums all the time with sets of original markings,,,,,, I'll look back in some forums to see if they have been around lately..........What kind of issues do you think you will have????? No bike smog in Ca.

I've registered several bikes in CA and after a certain year, the DMV needs to see that sticker. They needed to see it on my 1981 MotoGuzzi and I went through it with a 2005 Stella scooter.
It could be any sticker really... as long as it has the wording that satisfies the inspector. My hopes of having somebody put the dotted VIN numbers into the sticker is a long shot.
