Title: Winter storage for an LS..
Post by: SIMONGS on November 08, 2021, 10:37:27 AM

I have a lovely silver LS, with the original black pipes.  She spends her time in a wooden insulated garage, in which the temperature gets down to about 2C.  I have a greenhouse heater in there to prevent it getting too cold.  Does anyone have any ideas about preventing condensation in the pipes?  I'm told it's a known problem with these..... Thanks

Wooden garages and sheds are the best for minimising condensation. Nothing goes rusty in my wooden shed.  If you are still concerned I'd remove the exhaust and give the insides a good rinse with thin oil. It'll do no harm other than create a lot of smoke when the bike is next started.
