Title: Gearbox oil level sight glass

Idly searching for BMW parts I spotted a sight glass for airheads. Possibly useful to see no oil/wet oil emulsion? Grossly over priced....

So, any M18 x1.5 / 27mm spanner-size device made of brass or stainless will fit at le$$ £££££.

"sight glass m18x1.5" will do it on Amazon.

Sounds about the right size for the engine oil level sight glass on my Oilhead...  I hate it, I would much rather have the dipstick back...  I have to pretty much lay down on the ground with a flashlight and look through a hole in the fairing to see it.  F*@#&^g engineers... :furious3: :chairshot: :rifle:

Justin, I totally agree. The absence of a dipstick is one of the very few things that irritate me about the oilhead
