Post by: tiggum on January 21, 2019, 07:09:35 PM: Thank you for the notice. I left MOA several years ago, but have attended at least 2 MOA rallies in the distant past, and they were impressive. Since it will be about 25 miles east of where I live in the southern suburbs of Nashville, I will likely attend, particularly if I finish reviving my R65LS.

Post by: tiggum on February 11, 2019, 11:45:12 AM: Well, folks, I followed up yesterday and wound up with two tickets for $99, and those tickets are good for 13th-15th. This deal only lasts to the 14th of this month, so if you think you might go, jump on the deal ASAP; that's a LOT cheaper than the regular prices.

Maybe we can talk more as the time approaches, about a place where we might meet during the rally. I'd like to put some faces together with the familiar names on this site.

Thanks to Sue for taking care of it and keeping me informed. Sue and I plan to meet up on the Blue Ridge parkway and ride in together. Looking forward to my first MOA National in many years.

Not sure where the flag is at this point. It was supposed to come back to me eventually, so if I get it in time I will have it with me. :-)

Post by: tiggum on March 21, 2019, 10:52:59 AM: We have a BMW dealer here (Bloodworth Motorsports) who has competent mechanical services available; not oriented to Airheads, I doubt that parts availability will be very good.

There is also a very good independent mechanic who may be able to help out in a pinch. I know that he'll be going, because I bought him a ticket to make certain he'd be there at least part of the time you guys are in town.

I will see if I can get a map of the grounds and scope them out so that maybe we can agree on one place to assemble.

Anyone here go to the one In Charleston WV? It was a little different.
