Second year for this local event. Venue is the Visual Arts Center within the Denton Arts District. A friend organizes and promotes the annual DIMS event, along with our Sunday morning coffee meet ups on the Denton Square plus the twice-monthly bike nights at East Side Social Club. Recently, the Dallas-Fort Worth BMW club has been riding north to see what all the talk is about.
I was embarrassed by this 1979 R100RS Rat Bike. My only thought was, How did this bike get selected to be on exhibit. Of all the motorcycles on display, the doggy BMW was the only machine leaking oil from several locations. The wooden pallets were fabricated and utilized to protect the highly finished concrete floor. Requirement by the Arts Center management.

Gawd help us... are super knobble tyres the new fashion ?.. ok I wore Loons in the day when I was listening to Crosby Stills Nash and Young and Flares when I got Married (40th wedding anniversary next year... ekk ) I have a "mankeeny" stashed somewhere ? but would not be seen dead in any of them anyway to sum up, there is no chance of me introducing Knobbles to Gertie.

A less than sparkling example of the BMW marque. I'll speak to the organizer. Yessir, I will.

Tell them the exhaust is on upside-down! I can just imagine the number of inner thigh burns that setup must produce! [smiley=shocked.gif]
