Aired out the R100S during a mid-week ride through the LBJ National Grasslands. During the 1800s, this area was controlled by the Comanche indians; often referred to by USCav soldiers as, "the finest light cavalry in the world."
I have read, enjoyed and recommend S.C. Gwynne's Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History for anyone interested the history of the Plains Indians.
