...for not posting my trip in advance. But you never know who your going to meet on the road. This weekend I met SCJohn at the Blueridge Motorcycle campground.
Up there with the Georgia BMW Owners group. Had a nice chat with John. Never saw Steve!
607 miles on the R65 this weekend including the Blue Ridge parkway NC215, NC 28 below Fontana Dam, The Cherahala Skyway, NC68 south of Telkico Plains, GA 60 from the Northern frontier to Dahlonaga and home. K100RS front end works really well. 8-)

I'm beginning to think about the possibilities of fitting a K-bike front end onto my R100/7 for sidecar duty. Dual Brembos up front would work much better than the single swinging caliper on there now!

It was great to get to meet you and chat as well, Bill! Sorry Steve didn't get up to see you before you took off. He was helping one of his riding buddies try and trace down some starting problem on the guy's 2011 Griso that suddenly wouldn't start!
I put together a little slideshow of the Guzzi weekend. I wish now I had gotten a pic of your bike! Anyway, here it is:

Hope to see you again soon, Bill! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Cool slide show John. I guess the pretty R69 arrived later. I know we did. 8-)
Good for Steve. Was it the yellow one that wouldn't start? I think I saw it in the back of a truck Sunday morning when we left for the Cherahala Skyway by wasy of the BRP and NC28.

It will be a bit taller so that should figure into your calculations...with a side car set up I think that would be important.
