Title: MARILAQUE
Post by: Julio A. on February 15, 2011, 07:05:35 AM
MARILAQUE; Short for MARIkina - LAguna - QUEzon,
is a long twisting road on the Sierra Madre mountain regions that stretches from the city of Marikina to the provinces of the Quezon region.

MARILAQUE is a very popular motorcycle route that challenges a rider's skills and confidence. Sadly, many people tend to exceed their limit; every week a person dies or gets seriously injured along the mountainous road without fail.

I have never seen the end of this long road. The highest point of the MARILAQUE is at the Sierra Madre resort. Although it is almost an hour and a half into the long route, it is far from the end of the route.

I always ride here at least twice a month. Had a bucket load of experiences here and I still learn thing everytime I go through MARILAQUE.
