Here's a link to the 1st substantial ride after the 650 restoration. Airhead buddy and me did a 200 mile loop through Julian, Warner Springs, Lake Henshaw, Santa Ysabel, Cuyamaca, and to the very top of Laguna mountain. Beautiful day, great ride. The bike handled incredible. Love the new S11's and these bikes carve the roads like a snow ski. I'm impressed and I have solved the minor starvation problem. The bike just runs and runs and runs. Couldn't be happier or more pleased. All the hard work was worth it. I hope you all enjoy the photos and most important...I hope we can meet up on the road some day. Thanks for all of your help with this project - I feel as though it was a group effort.

Great ride! That's a beautiful area. It's been many many years since I've been down there. Those look like great roads for the R65.
Thanks for the pics. I love seeing those mountains. And both those bikes look fantastic! That's a very nice /5 your friend has. Love that toaster tank. 8-)
