Oooof! A lot of work done but oh so much fun! Blueberry got her switch gear replaced so she's back in action as my cafe bike. YEAH!

Bonus: Kevin K with the GS also has an R65LS, from another tech day: http://www.pbase.com/joanmarie/image/28931509.jpg
We got to talk wee bike smack high bandwidth! ;D
A great day, much bbq and tasty homebrew consumed, plus at one point ALL the 'heads were sitting, smokin' cigars and admiring our bikes.
I LOVE hosting tech days! Nothing like a good airhead party to help take the sting out of missing Gillette. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Looks like it was fun!
How about a picture of your cafe Blueberry?

;D I mean, she still looks like this! She's not fully cafe'd, still has her fenders and Reynolds because she's still a highway pony. BUT it's nice to have a real carver for those morning jaunts for MOCHAs! YES! ELIXIR OF LIFE!
Heh heh. [smiley=1drink.gif]

ME TOO! I think I'd be over at your place every weekend! And I love Texas already. ;)

You know, I have NEVER seen a BMW tech day gathering without at least (1) guy with a beard and ponytail.
I think that it is a requirement for all BMW tech day events - I'm glad to see that you kept up the tradition !

Joan, while we were looking at some of your other albums Barbara wanted me to pass along a "Thank You" for featuring her bike for the October '06 UBWFR. We have decided to try to make the Spring '09 one, assuming Ken will still be wanting to put up with us that far down the road... ;) Can't do this fall as new job=no vacation yet and my work "week" is 40 hours crammed into Fri - Sun ...
