I decided to get out on Britta and take her up to the lovely town of Brevard, NC today, in search of a diecast model VW Beetle (an early 1960s model, not the "new" Beetle) to add to my collection of Porsche diecast models. There is a unique toy store in Brevard that I never tire of browsing, so I made the trip up there to try and find my car, and then stopped at Caesar's Head State Park on my way back home. I took a few pics that are in this little slide show link below:

It wasn't a long trip (only about 92 miles) but it was a nice ride nonetheless! 8-)

Looks like it was a nice ride, slow paced , so you can take in the scenery.
And you got to add to your collection of cars as well.
Sounds like a day well spent !

Do they have CRXs? I would like a CRX Hot Wheels but I've never seen one.

Great slideshow! You do some nice pics. Now I have a new place to visit... Caesar's Head State Park and the toy store!
